Please.....I've seen 1.4 4 cylinder turbocharged engines do 220 for breakfast.

Obviously its detuned dramatically, but why? Why not let it loose with at least what the VXR has.

Ford are marketing the £17000 ST at a certain market and its all about balance, as we know all you have to do is put a slightly harsh Diff into a car and every magazine and reporter will jump on the band wagon and slate it, just like the VXR now and its "shocking torque steer" not that it would be shocking to anyone on here but the little girl reporter for autocar that tests it will think so
