i know a lad who was driving down the bypass, random bloke walks out (pissed i think he was, not that it matter for my point), neither have a chance to avoid, bloke dies instantly, driver was fucked up (mentally not physically) for ages, cant say for sure how id feel but pretty much like this lad did as a guess, lets hope i never find out!
