do you mean for a board that is snapped in half of just the one track ?
ie the board isnt snapped its all intact its just a track that i have snapped
Then you should be ok, but solder is notorious for filling in gaps where you don't want it, and not jumping gaps where you want it to
The wire resolves that issue.
