Agreed, But should Vets not be telling people to keep going with them rather than stopping at 8 years old?
I have no idea about these things and just take the advice of a Pro.
Maybe the Vet was just making a casual observation of what he thought, but not actually advising you not to have have your dog vaccinated. I am a little surprised that he said that. My Vet isn't of that opinion.
It would also, I suppose, depend on what area you lived in, if you were right in the middle of nowhere as opposed to a busy town/city, the need to vaccinate wouldn't be so great.
