In theory, you are correct, after the age of two then they don't need a booster every year as there immune system is now fully up and running. BUT if there is an outbreak, of say Parvo, in your area then you would need to get your dog done.
For the sake of twenty quid a year, its not worth the risk.

sorry to disagree with that. the boosters guard against 5 viruses of which three only need boosting every third year but the other two need to be done every year i looked into this last year
