yes it is timed up properly. when the crank is on the notch and try to time up the cams they come round so far and then the valves seem to hit the top of the pistons. someone told me that if the head has been skimed to mutch this could b the problem. could this be possible
what are you calling the notch? the groove

??? if so then that's the problem as you use the lug nearset the groove to time up on the yb's engine
