Can anybody help me out with this fuse box problem?
It involves the interior hester, heated rear screen and the reverse light.
Basically, firstly the interior heater would stop working intermitently, then so did the charge cooler which I have powered from same lead as the the heated rear window power supply.
A few knocks of the fusebox got them working again, not the best solution but it worked easily. Then the reverse light also played up.
Now the heater has stopped completely, the charge cooler is very underpowered and looses power when you select reverse, but the bulb doesn't light up.
Another problem is that when started from cold the the fuel pump relay repeatedly clickes for upto 10 seconds before finally priming. Then it will re-prime a couple of times. Presumably a live feed problem?
I've heard the fuse boxes in the mk 3 Fezzy and mark 5&6 Escorts are well known to f*ck up. Are these the classic symptoms? Know one seems to know.
AND what is the solution?
Any ideas greatly appreciated, cheers.
