Needs to be on the compressed side of the turbo,the air filter to turbo hose is no good for the dump valve,as this is before the turbo

Supposed to be better the nearer to the throttle body you can get it,this is why most people have there dump valve on the 'cold side' of the intercooler,in the hose between the intercooler and the throttle body/inlet manifold
