I had a N reg skline in today.

Should have a CAT test.

Because the bloke had removed the NS front and rear seat, it's no longer classed as a passenger vehicle and does not have to undergo a CAT test.

Now before all the pub experts chirp in, I called the help line and after a few minutes discussion withe the bloke at VOSA it was deemed 100% fine to not do the CAT test.

The other way round it is if the presenter can prove by showing a letter from a Ford dealer, that the engine fitted was manufactured before 1992.

Now i'm not suggesting that someone might forge a letter from Ford but........
