Just one last thing though, either check the timing yourself with a gun or get someone else to check it, in theory it should be spot on but check it just incase its slightly off.

I bet you were chuffed that you changed it yourself. Now would be an IDEAL time to learn how to use a timing gun, if the timing is out you can't cause any damage with it ticking over, only when your giving it some stick will damage be caused.
