Ok so I have decided at long last to buy a new alternator for my 2wd cosworth as was a bit skint over christmas

However I want to replace the main power wire from it as it is badly charred and the plastic coating has melted

Where does this wire go I assume either the starter or straight to the battery any help apreciated
