Firstly welcome to PassionFord mate
It could have been removed for any reason, but it is there for a safety reason, so if it were me I would want one on there TBH, but it is up to you, if you put one back on, the boost will go up around another 10psi, so you'll have to adjust the actuator back down on the boost!
