Changed oil and filter? Make sure you're using the right grade (5w30 fully synth iirc).

Check where the noise is coming from - bit tricky, but handy if you can spend a bit of time working it out.

I'm assuming you changed the tensioner as well (it's essential when you do the timing belt really). Did you oil the tensioner bearings at all?

If the noise is valve-train, you might need to get the rocker cover off and make sure you haven't damaged/broken anything. Make sure the cams aren't damaged where you inserted the locking tool and the cam bearings are torqued up correctly (think it's around 20Nm iirc...?). Also, if you removed the tappets make sure you put them back in on the same cam lobes they came off, otherwise it could be bad news for you I'm afraid mate
