I have just bought a rs500 spec intercooler for my saf cos 2wd and it is literaly an rs 500 intercooler i.e longer intake and outtake pipes and the intake pipe is just pointing at my alternator about an inch away??

do i need a alternator drop plate and rs500 pipes or am i fooooked
