hmmm... you say a torx bit,, but it isnt actually a torx bit at all, it looks like one , but isnt, its aspecial M12 12point drive bit , used by ford VW and a few others for suposed "main delaer" type operations..

if you have been using a torx bit, that may be why its slipped and chewed up, the proper bit would never come out...
