Gareth is right, Fault codes can only be a small part of the true story of
the fault and usually only a symptom.
The real talent is understanding why the fault code is there and
understanding how the individual engine/ecu works and that takes
experience or as most garages do.....
...guess, change a part and see what happens next and charge you for the pleasure.
