sounds like someone has the ford book to me
the anit roll bar (stabiliser) you on about is the same on 2i's that have them, same as rs1800
and if ya wanna be really picky (fuck me i sound like you Oranoco

) the front ball join is 10mm longer and 10mm set back and is the FRST is the only fiesta that uses them ( or should) but if you lower the car a lot you will scrub out the inside of ya tyres even if ya tracking is spot on, dont give a fuck what anyone says it DOES do it, as ive been there, dont that and got the t shirt.
if you lower it more than about 30mm you wanna use a different ball joints, ive lowered my car about 50/60 mm (on avos coilovers) and i use a different ball joint and since fitting the different ones about 6 years ago i have never had a problem with tyres scrubbing out
if you buy after market stuff, spax etc the ones they list for a MK3 fiesta covers all range's from 1.1 to frst and are the same, the different shocks are only the standard gen ford items mate, which if ya dont go for, then it dont matter
