Yes I've done it. But it was only a mini - and it didnt look too bad - but you could tell.
The only way to get an even cover and not get a stripey effect is to put absolutley shit loads of paint on and rub down / t-cut it back.
Wouldn't do it again. I must have used 20 cans. Thats probably half way to the cost of a cheap repspray.

Whatever you do DO NOT spray the car with metallic paint from a spray can. Trust me it WILL look shit. An aerosol doesn't have the fanwidth to get an even finish.
