It is hard to say which is the most fun, all the people who have never skiid will say it is far less gay though Wasting a week was my exact worry before I went but I spent the last 3 days exploring all kinds of slopes, and did the steepest black run on the World Cup GS circuit and some gentle off-piste/jumps as well after only a week of boarding so it shouldn't limit your fun too much!

You will fall over a lot though and T bar/button lifts are a pain in the arse on a board!
