Default Distance running....

This year I have managed to get my own place in the Flora London Marathon which is in April. Now I regularly run 30 to 35 km per week but now want to up my distance / endurance upto the 26 miles. I am currently running four sessions per week, 2 steady, 1 fartlek, and then 1 for building up the distance. I am happy with my (steady ) pace, which is currently just under 5min per km but I just want to be sure about the distance part.

I will be doing a Half Marathon in Feb which will give me a good indicator of where I am in terms of my performance but I thought I would ask if anyone else had any experience of running Marathons and could offer any advice on completing the 26.2 mile distance.

Cheers

Martyn
