we have the fastest fwd cars coming tho, proven many times, unfortunately its been a rover/mg for the past few years. if any fast R5 turbos want to enter the fwd class they can, min entry is a sub 14s run on the 1/4m. a genuinely fast fwd car can do ok as andy nicholls proved in totb1. unfortunatley you can see any number of 14s+ fwd r5 turbos at any normal rwyb day.

the rwd class is actually stronger this year than ever, and its likely a rwd car could win overall as well this time.

the 4wd class has always been ultra competitive
