you will alway struggle to find competition tyre for rims that are not of current use in major motorsport - and 16" arent - it always happens to me, i buy 15" - couldnt get tyres- so by the time i buy 16" - everyones on 17" so no tyres, so then i buy 17" and then everyone goes to 18"

Thought as much - but for a car of about a tonne, 16's a perfect. 17's have too much inertia, and u stuggle with brakes in a 15
