When I orignally set up the family machine, it was a lot easier to set it up as a single user machine than make lots of different accounts on it (at that time there would be 6) and act as Admin, so everyone would have to log in and log out all the time. Easiest way was to make it a single user account, and everyone has their own folder on the desktop for data, pics, docs, vids, mp3's etc....

I want to put a lock on mine as there is some important stuff in there that I don't really want to be accessed (no, not porn ) and a simple folder lock with password activation would be perfect for what I want....

So far I have tried;

FOLDER LOCK
HIDE FILES AND FOLDERS
FOLDER ACCESS 2.0
FOLDER PROTECTION
LOCK FOLDER 3.3

and another couple I can't remember and so far none of them have been any good to me 2 fucked the PC up and I had to do a restore back to Thrusday and the others either hide the folder (don't want that, it's long when I want to open it) or lock it but without password accessability, so I have to go to the programme find the folder and disable the password. Again, thats long....
