The motorhome loop is now closed, You are very correct as i nearly bought a gtr on the back of this, i found out 2 days before buying the car that it was no longer available. It had something to do with camper vehicles did not have model reports for an sva. The way gtr's are brought in now is by means of a single vehicle test. This is very similar to an sva and it is how kit cars etc are done that dont have a model report. A gtr will NEVER pass an sva emmissions test and that is why it cant have a model report. The single test has the basic car test then a noise and emmissions test, this costs 400 and 800 quid if i remember and a standard car will not pass. Some importers (as cam said) claim to be able to sva gtr's and this is how its done. I dont know how to do it yet but i believe the management of the car is fettled and extra cats may be added until the emmissions pass. If it fails the first time it cost you another 800. I know a few firms who can import and sva a car for me but they want near £2k for the sva, this breaks my budget.
