Kill a 400bhp Cossie at what??? Doubt it would have traction enough to kill a proper Escort with decent transmission off the line!
It may be quicker 80-120mph than a big fat old saff that has '400bhp' on 4 greens and a T3 though
not all races are from standing start
but i know this car has done a 12.2 qtr ( with less power than it has now i believe )
i was talking road cars and i know it would beat my saff no problem ( around 370bhp) i also know he left an fq400 for dead.
as for 80-120, it would beat a big fat old saff yes, and an escort, and a sierra ( even if they were genuine 400bhp) it has masses of low down pull,even in 6th gear it's awesome ( probably due to the vat turbo
)
just for the record i do not have any proof of the claimed power, and i have to admit i too don't fully believe it is THAT powerful, but when i'm shown a dyno report then i won't be as shocked as some of you.
maybe i'll get him to come to the next passionford midlands meet, and he can take people out
