what a load of bollocks 1.6 8v polos have a standard 0-60 of around 14s and are poo in fact all of the polo engines are poo except the tdi and the 16v lumps. my mate has a 1400 8v and it runs 60bhp and my nova sr was knocking out 80bhp on a carb with slight mods. I HATE VWs theyre only good for reliability lol as for beating an m3 and a scooby etc i dont think so!!! even a crzy polo with a transplant would struggle against an m3
