i am a semi pro boxer and i run alot, i found that running in the street causes problems to your joints in your legs due to constant up and down roads ect ,the best thing is tread mill and an exercise bike, and eating heathy ie fish salads ect not to much carbs unless you intend to burn them off i waight 14 st now but want to loose an other stone for next fight, so i am pushing my self at mo, if you are not fit at all the best thing to do is do a bit of exercice a day as long as you work up a sweat ,and dont eat shit, if i was you i would start off the exercise plan by having long and hard sex with my misses every nite then after 2 weeks ov that hit the tread mill pal and bust it out lol.
