Coilovers are not really needed on a road car so I suppose in a way it was good advice.
The guy who owns AVO actually rally's a tarmac spec Escos. I know he has faith in them to do the job required.

I think you should clarify that when YOU talk "coil-overs", that you're not referring to the "show-type" ones that AVO and GAZ produce, but their race-spec ones, which are what you would pay for their complete "budget" kit on EACH corner, otherwise you may mislead people into thinking that if they buy the £500 ones, they're getting the same thing that is used on that Escort above, which is most DEFINITELY not the case.....
