Well, i was with you in spirit - Hed Kandi is defo one of my all time top nights, if not the best - always such a high. GUTTED i didnt go, but thats becasue i had something better organised...

I was with you in more than spirit - every time a tune came on, sticky was on the phone to me - and we were shouting at each other very loudly

I spend the night in Manchester with close old school friends, and it did not dissapoint. It was the Erci Morillo Secret ball. Morillo is probably the greatest, highest paid, most higly regarded Funky DJ in the world. The venue was a massive conference hall converted into one of the most incredible clubs i have seen. The 2500 tickets sold out weeks ago, but as a friend was DJing, we all had VIP passes. I was a little worried about lasting the night, as i had ben working since 8am, but i needn't have worried. The experience was one long climax, i felt like i was in heaven. At 6am, the best was yet to come, as we had passes to the after party where morillo was going to make an apperance.

All in all, an amazing experience, gutted i didn't do Hed Kandi, but yet so Glad i did the Secret Ball
