damo quoting to cover time is not the same as over quoting cause you cant be bothered though !!!!
thats what you was saying you would do, 900 quid for a bonnet cause he dont like doing it so he might quote more to put people off aint the same thing as it can take twice as long so he charges twice as much !!!!
thats the difference, i agree that longer jobs take longer, book times also include the ocasional problem that may happen aswell as driving in the garage time already remember
being cheep is not the same thing either as usually they charge more with fees and parts to cover there time
i can remember paying 120 quid for a clutch ratchet on me old orion turbo, they guy said its a bitch to do ect
3 days later he COULDNT DO IT !!!!, he tried to charge me for it anyway as he used his time,,,,,,,,, i QUITE RIGHTLY REFUSED as he took the job on and quoted me as its a coont of a job
anyway nobody else was interested in it at back street garages near me so i went to fords expecting my pants pulled down
cost me 18 quid in parts and 60 quid plus vat labour as it takes a hour they said
the bastard done it whilst i waited too, 30 mins was all done

, the secret they said was take the seat out,,,,, worked too
so not always is charging more for a job cause its a cunt a good thing NOR is being cheap
imo if you dont wanna do the job,,,,,,,, not cause it takes longer but cause its to much bother,,,,,,,,,, then be honest and say you wont do it
