prob cost him shit loads 2 make one, and as gareth said the materials aint cheap by the time u add good quality carbon and resin etc!!
Bot like paint u can but shit laquer for say £50 for 5L, and £250 for 5L, guess which one is gonna be better
Yes labour costs alot mate, at the end of the day you could say the same about spraying!!!! and takes fookin ages for something like a bonnet trust
SLR ones are 8grand!!!!!!!!!! and there nothing special.
£1500 average price to respray a car the same colour most place some are more.
Materials costs i could do it for £200-300 easy so thats £1200 profit each time!!!

yeah but MOST places wont do resprays as there alot more work to sort out and would rater spray 15 wings in half the time for twice the cash
bit like servicing costs and fitting a engine
my point was that carbon BONNET takes how long to make ?????, actual labour AFTER THE MOULD
you dont charge for the price of the spray booths andthe time to build the building though do ya
say what you like 900 quid IS too much for a bonnet for a car thats worth 5k complete
450 for a bonnet for a sierra is about right imo
