That sensor "Hall sensor" can be a ****, if it's moved about it can play up and the car wont start., it needs to be fixed to the dizzy, usually the wee clips break and you need to put a cable tie round it to hold it against the dizzy.
mine was like that i put a cable tie on it lasted for about 2 month's then the dizzy died
if it's f**ked id say get a new one A.S.A.P dont cable tie it as it will probley die when your mile's from anywhere (mine did
