that means your pump is fine, id take the pipe that comes of the thermostat housing of and the bottom hose of the rad and reverse flus the engine with a hase pipe, do the same with rad until it runs clear.

then fill her up and take her for a spin. if your fans old it mite not be efficient enough. also have you put the multi plug on the fan in the wrong way round causing it to turn the wrong way????

were exactly does the water piss out from, ? (with the cap on) i managed to crack my header tank (by putting cols water in it when it was hot)

this means the system has lost pressure and the car over heats (ive just got a new one from ford £24) also try a replacement header tank cap from halford £4) this should give the system its pressure back.

check your tank and see if the water is pissing out side of tank.
