yeah thats true doug, if you use eagle rods and pistons for the blacktop in a silver top, lowest CR is around 8.4/8.5:1

these wiseco ones im having made will be 7.8:1 to my spec, but could go lower if required.

not seen the rods yet but they are done now, and aint cheap lookin at about £900 a set

pistons are gonna be about £600 too, but will take around 700bhp
