i done a head gasket on a cossie not so long back and the water jacket round the turbo was blocked ,we tried to free it but couldnt and was creating alot of porblems, so after speaking with a turbo firm they said it was ok to run with out but will shorten the life of the turbo .

but the car runs perfect with out the water pipes on,
