Just come back to the UK and need to get 4 new tyres for my Mums Fiesta Zetec. The standard tyre size is 185/55 14 and the unusual size means they are pretty expensive at like 50plus squids each. So....

Could someone do me a favour and calculate how much the gearing will change if I put 185/60 14's on instead as they are a hell of a lot cheaper.

Will I notice the marignal reduction in acceleration with the higher gearing? will the speedo be far out? Will my Mum care?!
