Default engine rebuild. parts advice needed.

as title really, car's officialy off the road as from the end of this month until spring time when weather smartens up a bit.

got a bit of money saved up and with the engine getting close to 70k and giving a little blue cloud on over run i'm thinking this could be a good time to give it a refresh.

basically what i'm aiming at is....full strip down, rebore block, get crank ground and balanced, new pistons, bearings, rings, head checked out, light skim, new valve guides pressed in, seats recut etc.

i'm aiming for a end result of hoping to run a reliable and strong 350bhp, although for the time being i'll be sticking with my T3 so will settle for low 300's

questions.......

1. where's the best place to get parts from?

2. is there anything on my jobs list i've missed off? should i be looking at new rods or anything?

3. roughly what am i looking at total cost? i can get all machining work done through a company i deal with at work so thats not going to be too expensive.

thanks in adavnce
