TBH I was always under the impresion once the police had finished with it and the DVLA inspect it, they issue a new VIN and it is stamped on the shell at the same time... otherwise you could just put it on ANY shell you wanted

Though he is saying it hasnt been stamped yet, he hasnt got the VIN yet BUT the DVLA have issued it ... He also goes on to say how easy and straightforward it is to register it!!!!... Surely with a vin V5 and plates it would shift a whole lot easier..
