They are different, on the s2 the oil return fitting leading into the
sump is different , you can mod it to fit, just compare the two and make
room for the pipe if fitting a s1 to a s2.

Thanks mate thats along the lines of what i was thinking. Is it a straightforward mod to do or more hassle than its worth ?
It will be a Sump designed for a S2 that i would like to mod to fit to an S1......
