6 hours!!!!!!!! He's having a giraffe mate!! More like 6 days....they are a pain in the arse!!

Bascially [instuctions for a Safety Devices 6 pointer]:

Strip the interior [Front/Rear Seats/Rear Quarter Panels/Carpet/Soundproffing/interior clock/sun visors/sill trim]

Loosley fit the cage in place [you will need 2 maybe 3 people to do this without scratching it/the car]. It will be a very very tight fit. I.E. hard up against the dash/roof/A pillar/C pillar and rear arches.

Then push the mounting plates under all 6 mounting points and mark by scratching the paint.

Remove the cage.

Stip underseal from under mounting points

Weld plates into car

Drill holes for bolts as necessary [Will require you to remove rear wheels]

Paint and underseal as necessary

Cut carpet and refit

[At this point make sure you empty the glove box other wise you'll have to remove the cage once fitted to get your belongings out. Like I did ]

Fit cage and bolt in place

Refit trim around cage [you will need to modify rear quarters/front door pockets/sill trim].

Have a look at the pics:
