i know, its funny. u get a quicker reply on here about valver novas than on mig.

i guess youe nove was originally a gte then, otherwise u would of had the same problem with the exhaust.

where abouts do u live mate?

1 other question while ur here to ask, on the fuel pump from a gte nova there are 2 connections for spade terminals, 1 large and 1 slightly smaller.

what 1 is the pos and what 1 is neg?

tbh the conversion is actually quite easy.
it was daunting at first when i had both the 1.3 and the 2ltr engine sitting next to each other and a massive pile of bits including engine mounts and new driver shafts etc.
but once you work through it, it gets quite easy.
i would have no problems doing it again.
but would defo start with a gte next time. so much easier as fuel tank and lines etc are already there.
