well, without wanting to whip up (i only registered 10 mins ago, dont want to upset anyone) my s2 has no rust whatsoever, looked everywhere and the wiring is not like that. BUT, mine cost 4k!. so its prob not a good comparison as i dont know what it cost u?. how much are rs2000s worth?
