All the games I have are original but they are the Arcade versions that you found in the Video game machines in Kebab shops and on the pier etc the arcade cartridges are known as MVS carts and I've put them in some protective cases called shockboxes and downloaded and printed the inserts. The Carts you have are the home console version commonally called AES carts. The actual games are 100% identical whether it be AES or MVS and hold all the same info, it's just a different cartridge shape and the way the machine you using displays the info. ie the arcade version has the coin op insert coin etc and the Home console has the start/option screen, you can buy an adapter for your console to play the MVS games as the MVS games are more common and cheaper to buy.
The console I play my games on is an Arcade machine's motherboard that has been converted to play on the TV through the scart socket but it has 2 slots so I can swap between two games on the console.
Is your AES Console chipped at all? if not I can put you intouch with a Neo Geo genius that can sell you a chip that gives you a menu system when you turn on so you set up whether the game to play in European/USA or Jap and set how many lives/contiunes/etc and turn the blood on/off on certain games. Metal Slug just ain't the same without the blood!
