I know exactly what your saying as the last Saff 2wd i bought was on yellows running a -31 and 'stage 1' chip of some flavour or other but had no boost gauge and when i checked it was peaking at 23 psi Thankfully i never give a cossie abuse until i know its healthy and set-up properly and as it turned out this things head was indeed 'very' ported but had had more skims than it should have had and the valves had created their own cut-outs in the pistons
