The stem sits in a block bolt hole, the edge of the valve head then engages with the ring gear.
Made this in about 1976 and have used it ever since.

thats what a mechanic here said to do
problem is all my valves are in the head and i dont think removing the head gasket and taking a valve out to bend it is a good idea
spadge thats a good point but its the bottom pull bolt that is tight as fook
mains bearing again comes under rebuilding a engine to take the bottom pully off
snap-on dont even do what stu shown on display
