It's the old "need a bit more power" thing i'm afraid. A few people say leave the original cam in. What's wrong with putting a different one in for more power ? Does it harm the engine's life in any way ? If i don't put a cam in, what are the options for a bit more power without a lot of expense ? Reason i was going for a cam is that apart from k&n, exhaust and d/v, engine looks standard and wanted to keep it that way as car has original bodywork and is virtually un-messed with so was wanting to keep the appearance the same but with more perfomance.
