hello again mate

CHRIST i cant believe you're still battling this one that was AGES ago you posted about it

I'd be a bit like this little fella by now if i were you

do you remember i said to you about the posibility of the flywheel bolts being loose and allowing the flywheel to move far enough away to not give a reading

Looking a bit like that could be the case....? Either that or as grease monkey said, the thrust bearings could be worn although i'd expect the engine to be making all kinds of funky noises if this was the case....

Looks like the only way forward for you my friend is to whip the gearbox off Definately NOT a fun job.

You now know the CPS sensor is good, and also isnt producing a signal when fitted to the car, so this is the next job as long as you are satisfied its mounted satisfactorily?

You should be able to lower the engine and swing the box round far enough to find the problem with out having to pop the driveshafts out, so its not all bad news....
