Told them exactly what I was planning with a guestimated power output and the guy did the rest. Yes I would need to notify the DVLA of the capacity and engine type change but that would be no reason for it to go on a Q plate otherwise any car that had a new engine fitted would be liable for Q plating.

Mind you it's all pretty irrelevent as it looks like it will be staying CVH now
