Could it be the fuel pump breaking up? If it is they tend to destroy the injectors too Expensive if it is m8. My dads mondy diesel fuel pump broke up and killed the entire fuel system inc injectors. His was very very jerky to drive and kept stalling then taking ages to re-start when htis happened.
