they all get the same channels mate,just you can pay for more if you buy one that has a slot in it for the card. mine doesnt,but i still get a fair few extra chanels for fuck all! improves the image too being digital. no need for a different aerial,either plug it in between tv and aerial socket,or run the aerial to it then use a scart lead to tv
